An LBD and dark lip are bringing me back to where my style landed a couple years back. I’ve always loved LBDs with quirky details and this one is no exception. I love the grommets and double straps that tie in the back. My favorite dresses in the ‘cute but still affordable’ range are always from Nasty Gal’s own line (and if I’m being honest this one is basically the same exact dress as this one I bought from them years ago).
I also love these shoes! I rediscovered them in my closet a few weeks ago. I bought them impulsively for my sister’s wedding in October, wore the hell out of them for a month or so, and then they were forgotten in my car after a few trips to winter-y climates. Totally brought them with me to Denver last week though and I’m so in love with the life they’re injecting into my closet right now!
Stay tuned…new Youtube video will be coming this week!
If I received a dollar for every time I someone tells me, “You need new jeans,” whenever I wear destroyed jeans, I’d have a lot of dollars! These One Teaspoon jeans are the comfiest jeans I own and they look way cool with everything—including this wrap crop top from Tobi. I decided to go for a double denim look since these were the perfect washes to pair together. I matched them to a dark lip (MAC x Proenza Schouler in Primrose—an awesome sheer plum) and these chunky heels from UNIF a few years back for the perfect 90’s vibe. My style has transformed so much in the past few years and I can’t believe I was full blown 90s like 5 years ago and now I’m just in a style conundrum and just kind of doing whatever. It’s cool how aesthetics change and I’m down for it.
Thanks a ton to Tobi for this super cool top because it’s def going to be a summer staple for me.
I’m loving off-the-shoulder silhouettes and this crop top is one of my favorite things in my closet right now. It looks awesome with denim (high-waisted jeans or low-rise shorts) or with skirts like this awesome one from American Apparel. You can’t see from here but it’s essentially a heather white with little flicks of various shades of grey. Perfect little skirt in a silhouette my closet has been missing.
It’s been a little while but the Wangs came out. Shoes have been lackluster to me as of late but it’s nice to find warely worn gems in my own arsenal. I’m like so afraid to wear these and of course I worn them on the rainiest day I’ve seen in a while. I think it’s a sign that they must be put away for a while again.
