It’s so good to be back to blogging again. I’m usually one to preamble lengthily, but let’s just get to business. My style has silently transformed, maturing into my most authentic self. Radical Darling is no more, but I still think there’s no better way to describe the nuances of what I’m drawn to and what I emit.
Enter this look that’s a bit more ‘Darling’.
For Love & Lemons has been one of my favorite brands (if not the favorite) for the past 5 years. They are tastemakers with excellent details and they usually do things so right. I shot this look over a year ago, and purchased this dress in the prior spring, but it’s still in pretty regular rotation for me now. Statement embroidery over illusion mesh is their signature, but they switched up the game with this one with the 3D details. Sweetheart bodices are always my thing, and the bardot cut from the neckline to the sleeves is ever flattering.
I put this together with some cute white Jeffrey Campbell oxfords, a vintage basket bag I thrifted in Providence (where I’m living now again, FYI), and this awesome patchwork denim jacket from UNIF. I’ve become way more comfortable with mixing textures and I’ve since been making bolder decisions, too.
