Being Intentional

 In Personal Style, Style

I define myself as an intentional shopper. I shop with purpose, which is usually why perusing a mall doesn’t typically work for me. I keep my eye on one thing and eventually jump the gun.

This dress was no different. And unfortunately, it was so damn sold out that I tried purchasing two that were returns, only to find that they didn’t actually have the inventory any longer after processing my payment. Such a tease!

Eventually, the was restocked by one of my favorites, Revolve (who is finally stepping up their game in the diversity department—slowly but surely). I always get asked what size I purchase things in but that’s always a tricky territory for me because I’m very pear-shaped. My waist is pretty small but I have a bit of booty. If I don’t buy clothing to fit my waist, I end up with a tent of fabric from my mid-back to my butt. So I purchased the XS, but this time I probably should’ve gone with the S to be honest. I still manages to me it work. I paired it with my trusty old Docs for a nice little edge, but I also want to try some sweet pairings as well.
