A Suede Studded Jacket Moment
As one of my favorite pieces in my closet, this suede studded jacket makes such a good statement. I typically invest in a versatile wardrobe with pieces I can wear again and again, but this was a (sale) splurge that I bring out every now and then. I reserve my boldest pieces to a few wears a year. Other than that, I’m entirely still wearing clothes I bought in high school 10 years ago (like as I write this now actually) so I can justify something like this in my repertoire.
I mention sale because this was a nearly $400 jacket that I got for just over $100 before Nasty Gal was sold by Sophia Amoruso. I also scored another studded jacket at the time, and almost went for a third gold jacket, but I decided my picks were more than enough. I have maybe 5 or 6 moto jackets at this point but this one is special for the suede and gold/brass-tone details.
And as for a recent basic staple obsession, I paired it with this Free People brami. I can’t stop / won’t stop with these things. This is my third one and I’ve always said that when I love something I have to own it in triplicate. It’s great to dress up or down and paired perfectly with the jacket and these UO jeans.
And as I’m getting the hang of this again, I’ll remember to take detail shots of the back!
